'Smart Start' by pupils in Botanic and Holy Cross Nurseries Belfast as a Sticky Fingers Project. The artist Colin McGookin worked for an academic year in 4 Belfast classrooms. Along with visual artist Ann Quail he took part in Smart Start an experimental multi media arts project initiated by early years arts organisation Sticky Fingers. Colin worked as cameraman and filmed, edited, animated and produced 'Animating Our Art' a documentary with 4 animations running a total of 23 minutes on DVD and premiered at W5 the Odyssey Arena Belfast in June 2004.
