The artist Colin McGookin worked for an academic
year in 4 Belfast classrooms. Along with visual artist Ann Quail he took part in Smart
Start an experimental multi media arts project initiated by early years arts organisation Sticky Fingers. Colin worked as
cameraman and filmed, edited, animated and produced 'Animating Our
Art' a documentary with 4 animations running a total of 23 minutes
on DVD and premiered at W5 the Odyssey Arena Belfast in June 2004. Click on (or right click and save to) the images below to see some short clips from the animation. The finished production and associated publication is available from the Sticky Fingers office.
